| GREAT RESPONSE TO JOINT APPEAL |
| The initial response to the joint appeal of the Archbishops & Bishops of the Church of Ireland together with Protestant Aid has been particularly heartening, with parishioners around the country reacting with generous donations to the special fund. Distribution through the various parishes has varied depending on their respective internal communications but PA is confident that the support will continue over the coming weeks. “The average donation has been most impressive,” commented PA Chairman Arthur Vincent, “although the generosity of the Church of Ireland community was never in any doubt.” |
