Donations

Protestant Aid is reliant on the generosity of the public to maintain its level of support for those less fortunate in our society.

Any contribution, no matter the size, is vital and welcome. Donations typically come from:

  • private individuals
  • corporate bodies
  • parishes & churches

Individuals can help by way of either:

  • a once-off payment, or
  • a regular annual subscription by standing order, or
  • a legacy of cash or property in their Will.

Protestant Aid can reclaim the personal tax element of subscriptions of over €250 from PAYE taxpayers. There are also tax advantages for self-employed persons and corporate donors, while those giving a gift of assets can do so without the imposition of Capital Gains Tax.

Legacies

Legacies are among the most important contributions to Protestant Aid’s funds each year and because they are invested wisely for future use, they are an even more invaluable resource.

Despite the turmoil in global investment markets, PA invests only in quality stocks so the income is maximised.

Current subscribers are asked to consider Protestant Aid and its work when making out their Will. If you would like to make a Bequest, please contact:
